Saint Luke is gathering a special offering in response to the devastating floods after Hurricane Helene. Gifts given through Saint Luke will be matched 2 to 1 by our Social Ministry Team, which will triple your generosity at this time of profound need.

Ways to Give:

• Online donations will be received through October 8. When giving online, please put “Helene” in the field that says “Add Special Instructions To The Seller.”

• In-person donations will be received during worship on Sunday, October 6.

• Checks (payable to Saint Luke Lutheran Church for “flood response”) can be mailed to 203 North Valley Forge Road, Devon, PA 19333.

Lutheran Disaster Response has strong relationships in the region and is already at work on the ground, anticipating that our greatest impact will be reaching those in underserved and rural areas. By giving to Lutheran Disaster Response, you enable the ELCA to act quickly after disasters such as Hurricane Helene and to remain for as long as the recovery takes.

Appalachia Service Project (ASP) is committed to serving poor families in Appalachia, making homes safer, warmer, and drier. Already established in communities impacted by flooding, ASP will assist with recovery efforts, both immediately and in the months to come.
