Saint Luke Lutheran Church invites you to one of our special holiday services. All are welcome to celebrate the Christmas season with us. No exceptions. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season and discover hope through the miracle of Christmas!
Christmas Eve Services
Tuesday, December 24th | 10:00 am, 4:00, 7:00, and 9:00 pm
Four services in-person, two services livestreamed
10:00 am: Join us in person for a welcoming service to begin Christmas Eve with carols, a message, & communion
4:00 pm: Join us in person for a service sure to bring joy to our youngest friends & those who love them. Carols, a glow stick "candle-lighting," communion and a very special message for kids of all ages.
7:00 & 9:00 pm: Join us in person at for festive traditional services with carols, candlelight, & communion.
The 4:00 & 7:00 services will be livestreamed.
SPECIAL WORSHIP SERVICES
Christmas Pageant
Sunday, December 22, 2024 | 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Join us as Saint Luke Kids present the Christmas Story through word, drama, and song during a special worship service. Please note the time change for this Sunday—worship begins at 10:30 AM. Rehearsals for the pageant include:
December 8: Readers practice during Sunday School.
December 15: All children rehearse during Sunday School.
December 22: Final dress rehearsal at 9:00 AM before worship.
Advent Vespers
Wednesday, December 11, 2024 | 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Pause amid the holiday rush for a reflective Advent Vespers service. This candlelit evening includes song, prayer, scripture, and quiet reflection, offering space to prepare our hearts for Christmas.
Lessons and Carols
Sunday, December 29, 2024 | 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM
Celebrate the season with Lessons and Carols, a service featuring scripture and hymns that tell God’s salvation story. It’s a beloved tradition for the Sunday after Christmas!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a ticket for in person worship?
No, you do not need a ticket. Our Christmas services are free and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
How early should I arrive?
We would recommend that you arrive a few minutes before service, especially if you will be sitting together with a large group. There will be special music 15 minutes before every service, so come early to enjoy sounds of the season.
Can my kids come?
All are welcome at Saint Luke. Kids are welcome to join the services with their families.
How long does the service last?
The services last approximately one hour.Will the services be available online?
Yes, you can join us virtually live for at home Christmas Eve worship at 4pm and 7pm. You can also watch the archived services on our Youtube channel when it is most convenient for your family.
The Promise of Christmas: A Child Born for Us
Isaiah 9:6-7 (NRSVue) reminds us of the miracle of Christmas—God's ultimate gift to humanity in the form of a child, Jesus, born to bring peace, justice, and hope to a world in need. These verses from Isaiah were written hundreds of years before Christ's birth, yet they paint a beautiful and powerful image of Jesus as the promised Messiah. This passage assures us that Jesus was always part of God's plan for humanity, embodying everything we long for—peace, wisdom, strength, and eternal love.
