What is the role of the church in politics? Or is there a role for the church in politics? How do we live into our roles as believers and citizens? How do we respond if these roles are in conflict with each other? In this month’s session, the Rev. Dr. Leah Schade will present basic principles for a Lutheran understanding of the intersection of faith and the public square. We will explore the doctrine of the “Two Kingdoms” as well as biblical foundations that support Christians interested in engaging issues of public concern.
