Dealing with end-of-life issues, such as medical decisions, legal issues, and quality of life, is difficult. In partnership with Mainline Health, join us for a panel discussion with experts in the field including doctors, social workers, and clergy. Based on the book "Being Mortal" by surgeon Atul Gawande, the panel will discuss how to ensure quality of life right up until the end. As Dr. Gawande experienced in his own life and practice, when it comes to the inescapable realities of aging and death, what medicine can do often runs counter to what it should. The evening will also include a Q&A time. All are welcome at this free community event and the discussion will be relevant even without having read the book.
